What is your favorite TCNJ memory? I honestly have a TON! I’ve particularly loved all of the opportunities I’ve had to connect with people and broaden my mind, be that in an academic setting or a more social one.
Where is your favorite place on campus? Anywhere outdoors! TCNJ’s campus is beautiful, making it awesome for studying, going on walks, or just sitting and taking in the world! I also enjoy retreating to the library to get my work done in a cozy environment (and enjoy a chai latte!).
Advice for new students: This is a two-fold piece of advice in which I believe that both parts rely greatly on the other to have the most fulfilling experience one can at college: take risks, but also be compassionate with yourself. Everybody has different comfort zones, and pushing yourself out of yours could help you find something new that you really like. At the same time, doing this may also prompt you to discover that there are some things you just really don’t want to do, and that’s OK, too; it’s important to be proud of yourself for trying something that scares you a bit, even if it doesn’t turn out well.
Name a person or office who has supported you in your time at TCNJ: Shout-out to TCNJ’s English department for being so understanding and supportive, as well as challenging my thinking!
